its design and content reflect my thoughts, memories, feelings, and jokes.

i have an extreme aversion to flattening learning curves and a love for skiing. perhaps the two are related.

i'm a self-taught engineer — i find myself drawn to systems design, interaction design, cybersecurity, and identity.

currently obsessed with AI and its implications — and possibilities for humanity. we're in maybe scene two of act one of this play.

for all the sound and fury, if i were to distill my thoughts on AI into a single, strongly held view, it's:

it's a quote i hold dear and gets at the very essence of what it means to be human.

i've loved stories since i was a kid growing up in Houston in the 90s, when i had to win korean church math competitions for my mom to buy me a gameboy color.

stories transcend any one person's lifetime. interwoven across family, across friends, across lovers, across strangers — across generations, they are the fabric of our shared human experience.

in the end, we're all just stories, connected by nodes.
passed down over generations, they give us meaning.

we tell ourselves stories in order to live.
